Wrap belt maintenance

Leather wrap belts are almost maintenance-free if you store them properly. Below you will find tips for the new belt owner:

• Remember to wrap the belt loosely around your body so that it does not cause sweating or open when moving
• But though the belt is wrapped loosely, tie the knot tightly
• For example, a double knot, i.e. two knots on top of each other, is a stylish way to tie the belt and an easy way to tame the belt in the beginning
• If you bought the belt for a party, it is worth wearing the belt a few times before the party so it settles nicely
• A wrap belt will become softer and better with use, you will notice the difference after just a few uses
• A wrap belt will get grease from your hands, so the more you tie and "twiddle" it the better - these genuine leather wrap belts are maintenance-free thanks to this
• Please store the belt away from direct sunlight and hot radiators, and please do not store the belt tightly rolled or folded 
• You can also purchase a Kiedo Dustbag to protect the belts, it is a great travel bag for your accessories
• If the leather of the belt dries out for some reason, you can treat it with a small amount of colorless leather grease/leather care product. Use very little product and let the grease absorb well so that it does not stain clothes
• You can brush a suede belt carefully with a clothes brush or suede stone

Jewelry maintenance

• Always put your earrings in last when getting ready, hairspray or makeup is not good for the leather
• If you get makeup on your leather earrings, you can clean them with a colorless leather grease, apply it with a cotton swab
• Please remember to use silicone stoppers for hook earrings, so the jewelry doesn't stick to scarves and get lost
• Please keep your leather earrings out of direct sunlight, and don't store your jewelry near a radiator

You have a leather jacket made with love in your hands, and we wish you decades of wonderful moments together ❤️

The jacket comes with an ecological, plant-based leather grease that moisturizes and cleans the leather, and covers small marks on the leather surface. The grease also protects the jacket from rain. It is good to treat the jacket with a small amount of the grease every year, even before the first use. The cream is also great for caring for other leather products.

Please do not store your jacket near a radiator or in direct sunlight. It is best to keep the zipper closed on a coat hanger, as regular hangers with sharp points may dent or stretch the sleeves of the jacket. When storing your jacket in a closet, remember that clothes need room to breathe, and the leather may get dented if the closet is packed full of clothes. The leather can withstand light rain, but if the jacket gets completely wet, let it fully dry with the zipper closed, and then treat it with leather grease when the jacket is completely dry (please do not dry the jacket in a sauna). Small stains can be easily removed from the leather with a damp cloth.
